Ms Jerneja Lampret, Commissioner-General for the Slovenian Expo Milano 2015 section
Jerneja Lampret completed her secondary education at Stična Grammar School and went on to enroll at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Ljubljana, where she graduated from marketing in 2003 and then obtained her Master’s degree.
After completing studies, Mr Lampret was employed by Livar d.d. to work in the areas of sales policy and market research. Between 2005 and 2008, she worked as an adviser in the Office of the Minister of Transport and was responsible for organising high-level political meetings. During the Slovenian presidency of the EU Council in 2008, she worked as a coordinator at the ministry. She continued her work at the Ministry in the International Affairs Directorate. After a one-year stint with the Public Agency for Traffic Safety, Ms Lampret was hired as the Secretary in the Office of the Minister of the Economy responsible for international affairs.
On 29 August 2013, the Government of the Republic of Slovenia appointed Ms Lampret Commissioner-General for the Slovenia Expo Milano 2015 section. The Commissioner-General is employed by the SPIRIT Slovenia public agency.
