SLOVENIAN PAVILION

The Slovenian pavilion's pyramid design, based on a dynamic geometric pattern, is reminiscent of the country's landscape - Alpine mountains, the Pannonian Plain and Mediterranean hills melding into arable lands with a vast underground labyrinth of Karst caves. The pavilion is made of natural materials - wood and glass. Slovenia is one of the most densely forested countries in Europe; about 60% of the country is covered with forests.

Slovenia will be presented through five main themes: salt pans, bees, thermal and mineral waters, hiking and cycling, and the measurement of black carbon particles. The program at the Slovenian pavilion is prepared with the participation of Slovenian regions, which will enrich the permanent exhibition with cultural, touristic and culinary events. The participation of Slovenian companies in Business delegations is an important part of our presentation. The Business Centre, located in our pavilion, also helps Slovenian companies to expand their business abroad.
