Invitation to the presentation of Slovenia's performance at Expo Milano 2015
Kranjska Gora, 18 March - The Minister of Economic Development and Technology of the Republic of Slovenia, Zdravko Počivalšek, in cooperation with the Government Communication Office and the SPIRIT Slovenia public agency, cordially invites you on 19 March 2015 at 2 p.m. to the Ramada Resort Hotel (former Larix), Planica hall (4th floor), in Kranjska Gora, to the presentation of Slovenia's performance at the world exhibition Expo Milano 2015, which will be followed by a reception with refreshments and a social get-together.
Slovenia will be presented to the international public as a green, active and healthy country. A healthy lifestyle includes, besides healthy food, also active leisure pursuits in close contact with nature. Slovenia's green environment offers a wide range of opportunities for spending free time actively at any time of the year. Slovenia is the perfect destination for world-class athletes' physical conditioning and an attractive location for mass sports and recreational events, not only for the sake of the site's fascinating nature, but also as regards infrastructure and know-how. This is also confirmed by the fact that Slovenia is ranked among the most successful countries in the world by the number of Olympic medals per capita.
The new and modern Nordic Centre Planica is a testament to this. The new giant ski jumping hill will host the World Cup Ski Jumping Final between 19 and 22 March 2015, which will become the centre of domestic and international public attention. Sports journalists reporting on the event will be presented Slovenia in the same way as Slovenia will be introduced to the world public - with the message conveyed at the Expo Milano 2015:
Green. Active. Healthy.
